DNAP 715 : Informatics and Educational Curriculum, Instruction, Evaluation: Application & Practice
Building upon concepts of quality improvement and patient safety, this course explores the integration of informatics, information systems, and educational principles within nurse anesthesia practice. Students examine methods for acquiring, managing, analyzing, and disseminating information to support evidence-based practice, healthcare quality, and organizational effectiveness. Educational theories, curriculum development, instructional strategies, and learner evaluation are explored to prepare doctoral-prepared CRNAs for roles as educators, mentors, and scholarly leaders. Emphasis is placed on the ethical use of technology and information systems in healthcare and education.
